Everyday I meet someone I know who
was in my life before but not now
because I’ve changed friends.
And I meet them.
Now and then I find familiar faces.
No, it’s not obsession, believe me I really know them.
And I try to guess:
Do they remember me?
Will they smile at me?
And what is more important,
now and then I ask myself,
will I dare speaking to them?
Sometimes I remember their youthful dreams.
When I met that guy
he finally was a fireman what he wished a lot. And
sometimes I don’t even know their names,
my mind is so confused. I hardly think till I find them.
And I try to guess:
Do they remember me?
Will they smile at me?
And what is more important,
now and then I ask myself,
will I dare speaking to them?
I don’t regret finding those people
(yes, I think I’m glad)
I know their lives, I know they’re fine (x2)
And now I tell you
Everyday I meet someone I know who
was in my life then,
it was before
and it is now.
